We know that great tasting, freshly prepared pub food brings people together. At The Maypole, Leon believes it is all about serving delicious, freshly prepared food from locally sourced ingredients. From our burgers and traditional fish & chips to our home cooked Sunday roast — there’s something for everyone, including children. We have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes and can also cater for people with Gluten Free needs.

On Sunday’s we offer a selection of Chicken, Pork, Beef and Lamb roasts with fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire Puddings and proper gravy. There are also other choices available from vegetarian and vegan options to pies and scampi. Booking in advance is essential!

The Maypole is also the ideal place to hire privately for your events – whether it’s a birthday, wedding, funeral wake, or any other type of event. It’s quick and easy to book, and often does NOT incur a hire fee. We can also offer you a comprehensive buffet catering service too, tailored to you needs at and agreed price point. DJ services can also be provided.
